Rikishi Entertainment App

This Privacy Policy describes how the Rikishi Entertainment mobile application (“the App”) handles information. The App is operated by Rikishi Entertainment (“we”, “us”). Contact: rikishientertainment@gmail.com.

The short version

The App does not require an account, does not collect or sell personal information, contains no advertising, and includes no third-party analytics. Location is used only on your device, only with your permission, and only to sort wrestling schools by distance.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, or payment information. The App has no user accounts and no sign-in. We do not use advertising identifiers or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell or share user data with third parties for marketing.

Location

The Pro Wrestling School Finder feature can sort schools by distance from you. Two options exist, both optional:

Device location: if you tap “Use My Location” and grant permission, your coordinates are read on your device and used solely to calculate distances shown on screen. Your location is not stored, logged, or transmitted to our servers. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, and the feature works with a ZIP code instead. ZIP code: if you enter a ZIP code, that ZIP code (and nothing else) is sent to the free geocoding service Zippopotam.us to convert it to coordinates. No other information accompanies the request.

Third-party services the App connects to

The App displays content from and links to services with their own privacy policies:

YouTube (Google): podcast episodes and wrestling videos are played through

YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedded player (youtube-nocookie.com), and video listings are retrieved through the YouTube Data API. Google’s Privacy Policy applies to YouTube playback: https://policies.google.com/privacy. The App’s use of the YouTube API Services also means users are agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

Squarespace / rikishifatu.com: the Shop section displays products from our store at rikishifatu.com. All purchases and checkout occur on rikishifatu.com in an in-app browser window, governed by that site’s privacy policy and terms. The App itself never sees or handles payment details.

External links: social media buttons and other links open the corresponding apps or websites (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Apple Maps / Google Maps for directions), each governed by its own policy.

Children

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Data retention

Because we do not collect personal data, we retain none.

Changes to this policy

If the App’s data practices change, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the App’s store listing or on rikishifatu.com.
